The 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television (2014) noticed Carlo’s TV hosting prowess and placed him as finalist for the Best Travel Show Host category. His travel show,”I Love Pinas,” won at the 23rd KBP Golden Dove Awards (2015) as Best Culture and Arts Show. This was one of the shows he hosted weekly; the other shows are SHOUTOUT (informal college debate show); SARAP PINOY (cooking show); and DIYOS AT BAYAN (talk show focused on national issues). These aired on GMA Channel 7, GMA News TV and Light Network 33 from 2010-2017, produced by ZOE Broadcasting Network. Recognized for his hosting skills during live events, Carlo Lorenzo was nominated as Best Male Host for the 30th Aliw Awards (2017) showcasing the best of Philippine live entertainment. He is fluent in both English and Filipino. He recently hosted the prestigious 39th Catholic Mass Media Awards.
